Training for Organizations

A wide range of organizations seek for their staff and related stakeholders to receive training as a group. This training can be any mix of training leading to nationally recognized recognition (Qualifications and Statements of Achievement) and training on more specialized topics that are of particular interest to your student cohort. This training can be presented in your workplace, in another physical setting, or online.

A standard approach for providing this training would consist of the following:

  • The project naturally starts with both parties signing a contract stating the scope of the project and the budget.

  • The Insight team has an initial meeting with the client to further clarify any details not captured in the initial contract. This could include the scope for the project, the characteristics of the students, the learning objectives (and where they fit with the larger goals of the organization), and the proposed logistics for the training (such as location and dates). During this initial meeting we could also discuss whether the client seeks training that will be accredited (producing Qualifications or Statements of Achievement for the students), or training that is more specialized to suit their educational objectives. We could further discuss whether this training will use material already available to Insight, or whether the Insight team will develop new material that is tailored to the client’s specific needs.

  • Insight will develop a further proposal including a more detailed syllabus, any accreditation that the students will receive on completing the training, the manner in which training materials will be obtained or produced, and the training logistics (including location and dates). This proposal will be discussed with the client until the proposal is accepted.

  • Insight will develop any new training materials required. This will be discussed with the client at significant milestones to ensure that these materials suit the client’s needs. If these materials are for accredited training then Insight will also need approval from Asset College that these materials meet the requirements for accreditation.

  • Insight will present this training as discussed. Insight will be constantly working to adapt the training delivery for each student group to ensure that an optimal level of education objectives are met while also providing an optimal level of satisfaction and enjoyment by the student participants.

  • The training program will be evaluated by Insight (at more than one timepoint for larger training programs) leading to constant improvement in the training programs delivered by Insight (for both the current and future training by Insight).

Insight is passionate about providing training to our students, where we don’t just provide training but we also provide training on how to provide training. See here for further details.
